The most beautiful thing is to see a person you love smiling and even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it – Unknown.
Zealous means enthusiastic and passionate so I think that this nicely rounds up this relationship series. In a good relationship, you should be enthusiastic and passionate about your partner, no matter how long you have been together. When you talk to other people about your partner you should want to say how wonderful they are!
What if there are problems?
I am not saying that you should not be able to talk to friends about problems you have or issues in your relationship, as one of the great things about friends is having someone to confide in. However, I know some people who never have a positive word to say about their partner, ever. Now to me, I think that in these cases it must be one of two things. Either the relationship is terrible and they are not at all suited or, the person always speaking bad about their partner just likes to play the victim and make people feel sorry for them.
Now I also understand that not everyone may want to tell everyone else how they feel, but it is not just about being cute. It could be telling everyone how great your partner was at the weekend when they played football with the kids or what a great job they did when they decorated a room in the house. The point is, that there should be positives that you feel about your partner and you should be proud of who you are with.
Does your partner talk with Zealous about you?
It works both ways too. Your partner should be enthusiastic and passionate about you too. If you feel that your partner is not enthusiastic about you, then you need to communicate how you feel and find out why. Sometimes people get stuck in the habit of moaning rather then thinking about the good things, particularly if they are living with depression or have low self-esteem.
In a world that is often filled with way too much negativity, let’s have some positivity and celebrate our partners and all that they do for us.
True friendship and true love do sustain the tests of distance and time – Unknown.
