The first tip for a pregnant woman who wants to rest better at night is to drink chamomile tea. So drinking chamomile tea before bed helps you feel exhausted and ready to fall asleep faster- perfect if insomnia or heartburn are keeping you up! The University of Maryland Medical Center recommends drinking two cups of chamomile tea within one hour of going to bed every day during your second trimester.

2 Do some breathing exercises

The second tip for a pregnant woman who wants to rest better at night is breathing exercises. Yoga and meditation are both effective ways of reducing stress, which in turn reduces sleep disturbances. It’s crucial when you’re pregnant, or any time, to take care of yourself and reduce your anxiety levels so that you can get the most out of every day and night. Why not try this simple technique: breathe deeply with long, slow breaths through your nose while counting slowly up to five on each inhale and exhale? You’ll be amazed how quickly it helps put a smile back on your face after an anxious moment during pregnancy.
