1 Drink chamomile tea

Chamomile has been known as a natural relaxant, and it just so happens that pregnancy can cause sleep stress too! So drinking chamomile tea before bed helps you feel exhausted and ready to fall asleep faster- perfect if insomnia or heartburn are keeping you up! The University of Maryland Medical Center recommends drinking two cups of chamomile tea within one hour of going to bed every day during your second trimester.
2 Do some breathing exercises
The second tip for a pregnant woman who wants to rest better at night is breathing exercises. Yoga and meditation are both effective ways of reducing stress, which in turn reduces sleep disturbances. It’s crucial when you’re pregnant, or any time, to take care of yourself and reduce your anxiety levels so that you can get the most out of every day and night. Why not try this simple technique: breathe deeply with long, slow breaths through your nose while counting slowly up to five on each inhale and exhale? You’ll be amazed how quickly it helps put a smile back on your face after an anxious moment during pregnancy.
3 Comfortable bedding
The third tip for pregnant women who want to rest better at night is to make sure they have comfortable bedding and clothes. One of the best ways I managed my pregnancy-related insomnia was by buying a great, Pregnancy Pillow that helped me sleep on my side all through the second trimester without needing any extra pillows! You can also use an old t-shirt as a makeshift eye mask or even slip socks over your hands before bedtime to keep them warm if they get cold quickly during pregnancy. It’s about doing anything you can find comfort in when it comes to sleeping comfortably at night while pregnant!
4 Cut out digital items before bedtime
The fourth and final tip for pregnant women who want to rest better at night is cutting out digital items before bedtime. Studies show that the light from our screens can affect how well we sleep! So if you need a little help winding down after work or school, try reading a book instead of checking your phone one last time, it will improve your sleeping patterns by reducing stress hormones in your body while increasing melatonin production.
