Welcome to the September Idea List. If you are new to the blog you can read all about the Idea List and the accompanying Facebook group here. I hope you find it useful and if you join in, I would love to hear how you get on. Also, if you follow me on Instagram I add each day’s idea to my story to help people keep track of the list.

Monday 2nd: If you want to be organised for Xmas this year, now is the time to start thinking about budgets and planning things.
Tuesday 3rd: Organise and declutter your jewellery and accessories.
Wednesday 4th: Clean a radiator from a room of your choice.
Thursday 5th: Clean your tea, coffee and sugar containers.
Friday 6th: Clean and defrost your freezer (unless you have a frost-free freezer!).

Monday 9th: Clean the skirting boards (baseboards) in a room of your choice.

Wednesday 11th: Check what is under all of the beds in your home. Vacuum under the beds and tidy anything you find under there!
Thursday 12th: Today is video games day! Why not play some?!
Friday 13th: Today is Roald Dahl day – why not read one of his books or watch one of the movies to honour his work.
Saturday 14th: Clean and organise the garden shed if you have one.
Sunday 15th: Get the board games out and have a games afternoon with your family or friends.
Monday 16th: Clean out and organise your cupboard under your kitchen sink.
Tuesday 17th: Clean your shower and/or bath and replace your shower curtain if needed.
Wednesday 18th: Restock your winter medicines and organise them so you know where to find them should you become unwell.
Thursday 19th: Take a broom wrapped in a damp cloth and get rid of any cobwebs around your home.
Friday 20th: Have a go at making some homemade soup today.
Saturday 21st: Get out your warmer bedding ready for the colder nights.
Sunday 22nd: Between the 20th to the 23rd is the ‘Great British Beach Clean‘. Why not get involved today and help keep our beaches clean.
Monday 23rd: Organise and declutter your towels today.
Tuesday 24th: Swap out your summer sunhats and sunglasses for hats, gloves and scarves.
Wednesday 25th: Do a freezer inventory so you can use up what you have to start making room for Xmas.
Thursday 26th: Have you been to the opticians lately? Keep up to date with eye care and book an appointment if you are due.
Friday 27th: Deep clean your oven today.
Saturday 28th: Organise your clothes making sure your autumn-winter clothes are now in your main view.
Sunday 29th: Look through your food cupboard and see if you have anything with a good date which you know you will not use and donate to a local food bank. If you are feeling extra generous you could buy a few items to donate as well.
Monday 30th: Stock up on batteries, candles and torches and make sure that they are easily assessable in case of any power cuts in the darker evenings.
I hope you have a fantastic, fun and organised September and would love to hear your thoughts and how you get on!
