The exhibition is smaller than I thought it would be but it was still very interesting to see a glimpse into Ed’s journey from a young child to world wide superstar! Personally, I am not the biggest Ed Sheeran fan (I do like a few of his songs) but for me, it was more about showing Faith that if you work hard and believe in yourself then sometimes dreams do come true.
My husband is a huge Ed Sheeran fan so we visited on a Sunday so that he could come along too. My oldest daughter, Lauren, and her fiance, James, also came with us too.
The exhibit has art that Ed did as a child, school work, items from his tours and videos and paintings that others have done of Ed Sheeran himself. It tells the story of his rise to fame starting from childhood and is fascinating.
One thing that did really strike me as we were looking around was how committed to music Ed was from a very young age. Such a great message for our children. The drive and motivation that Ed and his family had is remarkable and clearly paid off!
Once you have finished, there is a gift shop selling Ed Sheeran merch and also some jewellery which has been designed by Ed Sheerans mother.
We had a great time and the visit sparked some interesting discussions about working hard, talent and commitment in our home school.
