Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk Review

3 images which contain - 1. Ed Sheeran puppet. 2. Photograph of the back of Ed Sheeran looking at the castle on the hill. 3. Man and woman looking at one of the exhibits in the Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk exhibition.

We recently visited the Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk exhibition which is in Christchurch mansion. This is a free exhibition but you do need to book free tickets to attend to avoid overcrowding. Opening dates for the display The exhibition is smaller than I thought it would be but it was still very interesting to see a glimpse into Ed’s journey from a young child to world wide superstar! Personally, I am not the biggest Ed Sheeran fan (I do[Read more]

Gratitude jars.

If you have not heard of gratitude jars before, a simple search on pinterest will bring up hundreds of examples. The basic idea is that each day that something lovely happens you write it down on a piece of paper and add it to your jar throughout the year and then at the end of the year you and your family can read them all out and reminisce about all the great things that you have been thankful for during[Read more]

The monster on my back

There is a monster on my back that I am always having to carry around with me, no one can see it, but I know it’s there. I can feel the weight of it weighing me down, sometimes I feel like I am being crushed by it.  I walk with my head down and my shoulders slumped over as I try and shrug it off, but it will not leave me alone. No one else can hear what it says[Read more]

Number 14 – check!

Today is the day that I can successfully check off another item from my 40 by 40 list! I feel that I have now been smoke free long enough to say that I have officially given up smoking and my goodness do I feel better for it! I am really proud of myself as it has been a long time since I actually achieved something that I had planned to do and it took me a really long time and[Read more]

Quote time – Nothing is impossibe….

Today I would like to talk about another of my favourite quotes. ‘Nothing is impossible, the very word itself says I’m possible’ I love this quote as it is so positive and I must admit that I really annoy my oldest daughter with this quote as I am always telling her this.  The thing is, Lauren has a very negative outlook on things (I guess she gets it from her dad) but it really frustrates me. I really believe that if you look at[Read more]
